Ms. Twyla Parker

Second-Degree Black Belt

My martial arts journey began long before I even understood what a black belt meant. I started training at My Family Karate when I was just three years old—a tiny beginner with big dreams and a love for kicking, jumping, and being part of something special. Growing up on the mat shaped who I am today. My Family Karate taught me discipline before I could even spell the word, confidence before I truly knew what it meant, and respect as a core part of my character. Every class, every challenge, and every belt along the way helped me grow not only as a martial artist, but as a person.

Throughout the years, I learned to push through fear, stay focused, and always give my best effort. My instructors—especially Master Cass—guided me from that little girl in her first uniform to a young woman capable of leading, teaching, and inspiring others.

Earning my Second-Degree Black Belt is one of my proudest accomplishments.

Mr. Rofael Estefanos

Third-Degree Black Belt

My name is Mr. Rofael Estefanos, and My Family Karate has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began my martial arts journey at five years old, a shy kid stepping onto the mat for the first time. What started as a simple class quickly became my second home.

Under the guidance of Master Kaz and the instructors at My Family Karate, I grew not only in skill, but in confidence, discipline, and character. Every belt I earned pushed me to become stronger, more focused, and more determined. Over the years, training became more than kicks and punches—it became a way of life.

Today, I am proud to hold the rank of Third-Degree Black Belt. Reaching this level has been the result of years of hard work, consistency, and the never-give-up attitude that My Family Karate teaches every day. I’ve learned that true strength comes from patience, resilience, and the willingness to challenge yourself, even when no one is watching.

Master Erwin Cornell

Fourth-Degree Black Belt

My name is Master Erwin Cornell, and my journey in martial arts began when I walked into My Family Karate at the age of ten years old. I was a quiet kid searching for direction, and I had no idea that stepping onto that mat for the first time would shape the rest of my life.

From the very beginning, I was inspired by the discipline, respect, and focus that My Family Karate represents. Under the guidance of Master Kaz and the incredible team of instructors, I discovered a passion for training and a drive to push myself further than I ever thought possible.

Every belt I earned came with new challenges, new lessons, and new opportunities to grow—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. Martial arts taught me how to overcome obstacles, stay disciplined, and maintain a never-give-up attitude even in the toughest moments.

Today, I am proud to hold the rank of Fourth-Degree Black Belt.
